Comments

While only the author of a log entry may edit it, any authenticated user may add information to the entry by making a comment. The comment form is found at the bottom of the page, below the content of a logentry. The form is collapsed by default, but if you click the link labelled "Comment Form", you will see the following:

Some notes about the comment form

  • Comment subjects are limited by the underlying Drupal Content Management System to no more than 64 characters.
  • When the comment subject is left blank, the sytem will word-honoringly cut an approximately 29 character extract from the beginning of the comment to use as a subject.
  • New comments are automatically emailed to the original author of the log entry. The "Notify" field can be used to specify additional recipients.
