Advanced Search

There are two types of terms: Single Terms and Phrases.

A Single Term is a single word such as "test" or "hello".

A Phrase is a group of words surrounded by double quotes such as "hello dolly".

Multiple terms can be combined together with Boolean operators to form a more complex query (see below).

Phrase Search

Enclose a phrase in double quotes to search for entries that match the entire phrase.

Example: "cavity by cavity phasing"

Excluding Terms

Use the boolean operator NOT or a minus (-) to exclude entries containing the negated terms from your search results. Note that NOT must be uppercase to be treated as a boolean operator and not keyword "not"

The examples below would exclude results containing "NL" from the results of the first example above.

Example: "cavity by cavity phasing" -NL
Example: "cavity by cavity phasing" NOT NL

AND

By default when you specify multiple terms, they are joined together with OR meaning that results might contain only one of the terms. Use the boolean operator AND or a plus (+) to require multiple terms. Note that AND must be uppercase to be treated as a boolean operator and not keyword "and"

The examples below would limit results of the first example above to those that also contain "NL".

Example: "cavity by cavity phasing" +NL
Example: "cavity by cavity phasing" AND NL
