Updating a Problem Report


Finding the form


An authenticated user may update or close a Problem Report. The form to do so is available by clicking the "Update this Record..." link that is shown when viewing the entry detail as shown:

Making the Update


The form to update the PR is identical to the form used to create the PR, but with the addition of a text area for making a comment.

  • To close the PR uncheck the "Needs Attention" checkbox
  • To recategorize the PR, choose a different System and/or Component
  • To reassign the PR, choose a different Group
  • To explain your action, add a comment.
  • Don't forget to press "Submit" to save your changes
